Awareness of Breath by Simon Whitesman
The breath is a wonderful tool to observe and investigate our body and mind and their on-going conversation. As we learn to simply let the breath breathe itself, to let go of control of the breath momentarily, we cultivate our capacity for equanimity, to simply let the moment be as it is. The bells will be rung once after 15 minutes and three times after 30 minutes.

Body Scan by Linda Kantor
The body scan is a technique involving moment-to-moment, non-judgmental observation of body sensations and feelings, from the tips of the toes to the top of the head. This formal practice allows us to tune into our bodies with sensitivity and care while we learn and experience the art of relaxation.

Duration: 40 minutes

Lake Meditation by Linda Kantor
The mountain and lake meditations draw on our images of nature to help us deepen our practice and enhance our capacity to remain centered and grounded through our ever-shifting mind-body states. Through these meditations we can discover more of our innate ability to navigate change, to find stillness within and deepen our sensitiviy to the body.

Lovingkindness Meditation by Simon Whitesman
This meditation allows us to cultivate and refine the capacities of open-hearted generosity, concern and kindness for ourselves and all beings. We learn that to be fully awake and alive we need to retain a balance between self-awareness and our fundamental interconnectedness with all things. This practice is an invitation and an intention to direct the heart towards these unique human qualities.

Duration: 20 minutes
